Membership of this Library is available to:

  • Staff and affiliated students at The Royal Melbourne, Royal Women’s and Peter MacCallum Hospitals.
  • Staff currently employed in agencies funded by the Mental Health, Drugs and Regions Division, Department of Health, Victoria .

  • If you are an HMO, Registrar or Intern, your membership will expire at the end of January each year
  • After 1 year for permanent Staff

Who is eligible to join?
  • Medical, Nursing, Midwifery, Allied Health and Pharmacy students from Melbourne University
  • Nursing, Midwifery, Allied Health and Pharmacy students from Latrobe University
  • Nursing, Midwifery, Allied Health and Pharmacy students from Monash University
  • Elective Students on placement at the Royal Melbourne, Royal Women's and Peter MacCallum Hospitals
How do I join the Library?
  • In person at the library on the ground floor of the RMH City Campus (please bring your hospital ID)

When does my membership expire?
  • At the end of December each year or,

Who is eligible to join?
  • Staff staff employed through the RMH Nurse Bank, the RWH Royal Bank or Peter Mac Nursing Workforce Unit.
How do I join the Library?
  1. Collect a membership form from the library, or download and print this PDF
  2. Complete the form and have the bank supervisor sign your form
  3. Bring the form in person to the library ion the ground floor of the RMH City Campus (please bring your hospital ID)

When does my membership expire?
  • Every 6 months or,
  • At the date listed on your membership form

How do I renew my membership?

  • In person at the library. You will need to complete a new form each time

How do I Renew/Update my Library Membership ?


Library memberships requires renewal:

  • At the end of January for Interns, HMOs and Registrars
  • After 1 year for permanent Staff
  • If you move physical location with your position
  • For students at the end of each academic year, or at the end of your placement
  • If you indicate an end date on your membership form
  • For nurse bank staff, every 6 months


Please note: Your library card does need to be replaced
